THE BOOK OF ENOCH
WERE YOU TAUGHT THAT THE BOOK OF ENOCH IS NOT BIBLICAL?
The Book of Enoch, who was recorded in the bible as the great-grandfather of Noah; that is, Enoch son of Jared (Genesis 5:18). Enoch is also one of the two people in the Bible taken up to heaven without dying (the other being Elijah), as the Bible says "And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him." (Genesis 5:24; see also Hebrews 11:5). Most commonly, the phrase "Book of Enoch" refers to 1 Enoch, which is wholly extant only in the Ethiopic language.
We present the following for you to determine for yourself whether or not it should have been include in the Bible. As for me and my house, we believe that it was reserved by God for these final days, the end times, and for us to learn a few 'hidden mysteries'.
If God valued Enoch enough to be one of two out of the all humans, to that point in history, to escape death, and was refereed to in the Bible for us to 'seek' and find... we believe it is now relevant.

The biblical book of Jude quotes from the Book of Enoch in verses 14-15, “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: ‘See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.’” Does this passage alone prove that the Book of Enoch is inspired by God or not and should be in the Bible or not?
Just because Jude’s quote is not the only quote in the Bible referring to Enoch or the only one from a non-biblical source is not reason enough for us to not conciser the book relevant. Do not be swayed by the fact that the Apostle Paul quotes Epimenides in Titus 1:12 because that does not mean we should give any additional authority to Epimenides’ writings, God did not put his personal stamp of approval on Epimenides. Jude quoting from the book of Enoch mat or may not indicate that the entire Book of Enoch is inspired, or even true. All it means is that particular he believed the specific verse is true. Much like the fact that we have many videos on this site, but we do not agree with all of doctrines presented by the creators of these videos, on the ones we present align with our beliefs, as led by our conviction in what the Bible says. It is interesting to note that no scholars have actually stepped forward and stated they believe 100% that the Book of Enoch was written by the Enoch of the Bible. Enoch was seven generations from Adam, the same prior to the Flood (Genesis 5:1-24). Evidently, though, this was genuinely something that Enoch prophesied—or the Bible would not attribute it to him, “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men” (Jude 1:14). This saying of Enoch was evidently handed down by tradition, and eventually recorded in the Book of Enoch.
We should treat the Book of Enoch (and the other books like it) in awe and wonder. We believe in the book of Revelation written by John, why should we not believe in this revelation of Enoch? We know for a fact that some of what it says is true and correct, proven by history and science, but at the same time, much of it is new information that is said from the onset to be reserved for those in the end times... could that not be us? If you read these books, please treat them as interesting but also reserve judgment on the side of a truly a gift of God, perhaps even as the inspired, authoritative Word of God.
